Beneath the Surface

The library will host a month long series of programs for 5th through 9th graders, BENEATH THE SURFACE, beginning June 6 and concluding June 27.  Participants will study botany, the human skeleton, and earth science with Betsy Hughes on Thursdays in June at 2:00 p.m.  Registration is required to attend.  The June 27th program will feature iTunes cards for all who attended every program.  Call the library at 286-4111 for more information and to register for the program.

Summer Reading Program

Dig into Reading is our theme for the 2013 Summer Reading Program. "Just dirt?" you say? Dig a little deeper and you'll discover there's a world of interesting things beneath your feet. Join us for the Jackson City Library's summer reading program beginning June 12th. Readers from toddlers to 6th grade will explore our underground theme, Dig Into Reading with stories, music, crafts and more. Registration begins May 24th. Stop in the library to pick up a flyer of summer events.
