January's book is Across Many Mountains: Three Daughters of Tibet by Yanzom Brauen. Brauen has rescued the story of her inspirational grandmother, writing a book full of love and endurance, and giving us a rare and vivid glimpse of life in rural Tibet before the arrival of the Chinese.
The Jackson Book Club meets the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome, even if you haven't read the book.
